Editor’s Notes: London-based streetwear brand maharishi is celebrating the Lunar New Year with a special capsule collection honoring the twelfth creature in the zodiac cycle, the boar.
The thematic range consists of organic cotton graphic T-shirts featuring artwork inspired by ancient Chinese paper-cutting, in addition to the standout item, a tour jacket. The Year of the Boar tour jacket comes optioned in multiple colorways, boasting detailed embroidery of Zhu Bajie, a fictional character from the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West. maharishi utilized compactly woven cotton on the jacket, providing the silhouette with a more durable build and a cleaner finish.
