Maison Kitsuné has introduced its new ACIDE Maison Kitsuné fashion line alongside a debut collection. With its new line, the Franco-Japanese brand continues to delivered subtle, yet inimitable unisex casual wear. ACIDE Maison Kitsuné retains the label’s emblematic fox logo, but in a distinctly impressionist iteration. The new signature logo, called the “ACIDE Fox” recalls the linework of Matisse, blended with a Fauvian color sensibility. New York-based artist and illustrator, Christina Zimpel, has certainly brought her expressive, broad-stroke technique to the genderless ACIDE collection, which features unexpectedly bright, acid-like colors.
Thankfully, the debut collection maintains Maison Kitsuné’s classic staples like cotton T-shirts, polos, crewneck sweatshirts, cardigans, buttoned shirts and accessories, enlivened with Zimpel’s irreverent style. ACIDE is Maison Kitsuné’s third special collection, and is available now at all Maison Kitsuné boutiques, authorized retailers, and online at www.maisonkitsune.fr.. The second drop is expected to follow in May, 2019.
