Back in 2015, Marvel Comics introduced the first volume of its hip-hop variants cover program. This year, the brand has expanded its reach in the world of hip-hop by collaborating with Urban Legends to bring some of the inspirational covers to life in the form of vinyl. As stated in a post on the record label's website, the "exclusive album series" will feature "select collector’s editions" of their most influential releases.

“Marvel’s hip-hop variant covers celebrated the music industry in a whole new way, combining the creativity of original album art and the Marvel Universe to create one-of-a-kind pieces of art," said Daniel Fink, executive director of business development at Marvel. "We’re excited to collaborate with UMe to bring these variants back for fans of these iconic albums."

The first three titles to be released from this season's edition are 50 Cent's Get Rich or Die Tryin', GZA's Liquid Swords, and LL Cool J's Mama Said Knock You Out. Copies of the vinyl are available to pre-order now on Urban Legends' online store. Read the entire press release about the upcoming collaboration here.
