McDonald’s Japan has unveiled its latest range of USA-inspired burgers. Dubbed American Deluxe, this year’s update of the limited-edition series takes its inspiration from the states of Texas and Idaho.
The Texas Burger 2018 includes a beef patty, fried onions, two slices of bacon, and two slices of melted cheddar sandwiched in a three-stage bun. The burger is finished with a dose of barbecue sauce for that true hit of Lone Star State goodness.
The Idaho Burger 2018 is a slightly more modest affair, with a beef patty, bacon, onion, cheddar sauce, and garlic and black pepper sauce. The sandwich is completed by a hash brown, shouting out Idaho’s place as potato country.
McDonald’s 2018 American Deluxe series also includes a companion breakfast sandwich for each state, replacing the beef with a pork sausage patty. This year’s set follows last year’s cheese-laden affair.

In other news, this white truffle TRUFF hot sauce is almost too good-looking to eat.
