Winter’s finally behind us and if you’re in the market for some clean white kicks to see in the summer, then get familiar with MCM’s new Himmel sneaker.

Named ‘Himmel’ – the German word from 'sky' – the sneaker’s design is inspired by the curvature of clouds and references archival designs from the house, such as MCM’s iconic Laurel motif. The hero colorway, Optical White, launched exclusively in Berlin last month and features neon volt accents nodding to the city’s famed techno club culture.

Despite its chunkier vibe, the sneaker isn’t cumbersome thanks to its lightweight sole and breathable perforated calf leather and mesh-lined upper. That, combined with its fresh appearance, makes it a great option if you’re looking to rep a new sneaker brand in warmer weather. Plus, from what we gather in the comments below, they're damn comfortable, too.
