Last year, Dos Equis owner Heineken felt it was time for a refresher, so the company ditched Jonathan Goldsmith, the former "Most Interesting Man in the World" for a new, younger "Most Interesting Man," in hopes of appealing more so to millennials. Now, however, Goldsmith has been scooped up by Astral Tequila and chosen to be the face of the brand's new ad campaign.

Previously, Goldsmith had spent roughly a decade starring in braggadocios advertisements for Dos Equis.

"I told you, I don't always drink beer," Goldsmith insists in the new Astral Tequila promo, as the brand just so happens to be another popular Mexican import, of which the actor is also an equity partner.

Goldsmith's move to another adult beverage company is somewhat similar to Paul Marcarelli (the "can you hear me now?" guy), the actor who somewhat recently jumped ship from Verizon and made his way on over to Sprint.
