Nintendo's gloriously nostalgic NES Classic Edition gaming console may have tongues wagging and bank balances cowering when it was first launched on November 11, but in truth it's been almost impossible to actually cop one. A handful of retailers are fighting over extremely limited stock to sell both online and in-store and, as a result, customers like us have been left to fight over the crumbs.
The only straightforward way to get your hands on one, until now, was to make a deal with some unscrupulous third-party reseller offering the mini gaming system up for hundreds of dollars. Now though, thanks to retailer Urban Outfitters, we've all got the chance to buy one for a reasonable price.
The store announced on Instagram it will offer a "limited inventory" of the NES Classic Edition, only via its online store on Tuesday, December 6 for $59.98. At exactly what time today the console will go live on the site remains unknown.
If you miss out, Urban Outfitters is also offering us the chance to win one by signing up to its rewards scheme either online or inside the Urban Outfitters app. You can find the competition under the "Contests and More" tab.
