According to reports, the Air Jordan 4 "Lightning" is finally slated to return, following its original release in 2006. This isn't mere speculation, however, as official images of the 2021 iteration of the shoe have begun to circulate, meaning it's only a matter of time before Nike (likely) announces the drop.
The Air Jordan 4 "Lightning" remains one of the more coveted Jordans to release in recent memory, having been subjected to a mere online launch nearly 15 years ago. Now, the grail status colorway is expected to return as an affordable general release, reportedly launching this August, the same month it first arrived in 2006.
"Tour Yellow" nubuck drapes the upper of the Air Jordan 4 "Lightning," while “Dark Blue Grey” accents provide pops of contrast. Additional hits of black also serve to complement the yellow base. The sneaker is branded with the Jumpman logo throughout, as the signature Jordan emblem is applied to the tongue, heel, and insoles.
Per sneaker insiders, the Air Jordan 4 "Lightning" will return for the first time ever on August 7, packaged in a brand new box. Nike has yet to confirm these reports, though, so you'll want to keep it locked here for more info.
In the meantime, you can check out the best general release Jordans arriving throughout 2021.
