Oreo lip balm is officially now a thing, according to Insider. As part of a month-long celebration of the cookie, the confectionary company will be releasing a number of off-kilter goods in the run up to National Oreo Cookie Day on March 6.

Created in collaboration with Taste Beauty, the "Stuf" lip balm is supposed to look and smell like the cookie's iconic white filling. Whether it actually tastes like the crème is as yet unknown. Other potential prizes include themed leggings and headphones.

The lip balm will drop as part as a promotional contest starting on Oreo's website February 4. Entrants must scan a cookie to take part — what this actually involves in practice remains to be seen, but presumably, instructions will arrive when the competition opens.
