Editor's Notes: Finding a needle in a haystack might genuinely be easier than getting your hands on a New Balance 990 series collaboration. Seriously, it's a difficult process, and once you miss, you'll be spending a pretty penny on the secondary market to secure your grails.

We've witnessed it time and time again; anything JJJJound puts its hand on is going to sell fast and resell hard, and the same can be said for Stray Rats' highly desired releases.

Last year's breakfast-inspired Paperboy Paris collaboration was no different; each time the silhouette dropped (there were a couple of rereleases), it felt like there were several more hoops to jump through in the hopes of securing a pair.

Fortunately, the duo has worked on yet another 990, specifically the 991, but getting your hands (and feet) on them sounds like one of the most difficult cops in recent history.

This pretty pink pair is actually a three-way team-up that brings the print publication, All Gone on board. Initially shared by All Gone's founder Michael Dupouy on Instagram, it was confirmed that the sneaker would only be available in-store at Paperboy's Parisian restaurant.

Sounds simple, right? Wrong.

Fans looking to purchase a pair would need to find a "magic card" tucked away in random copies of All Gone being sold at Paperboy on the day. That's perfect for those living in Paris with a four-leaf clover in their pocket, of course.

As of yet, the pink and beige suede, white mesh, and green New Balance branding that decks out this release remain super exclusive. We shouldn't, however, rule out a further global release.
