Post Malone is set to make his acting debut alongside Mark Wahlberg in a Netflix film called Wonderland, Variety reports. The project is a Peter Berg adaptation of Robert B. Parker’s Wonderland,  a book by Ace Atkins, part of the Spenser series of detective novels. Other cast members include Alan Arkin, Iliza Shlesinger, Bookem Woodbine, Hope Wilson and James DuMont.

Wonderland marks Post Malone's first acting role. Speaking of the big screen, Malone recently debuted his song “Sunflower” from the forthcoming Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Earlier this year, Post Malone smashed Michael Jackson's previously-held Billboard record with his sophomore album beerbongs & bentleys.  The musician has also announced his inagural 'Posty Fest' with headliners Travis Scott and Tyler, the Creator, taking place October 28 in Dallas, Texas.

An approximate release date for the film has not yet been revealed. Stay tuned for more news on Post Malone's first foray into acting.

In other music news, Octavian just announced his European 'Space Party' tour.
