This past summer, a report from The Wall Street Journal, indicated that the long-rumored foldable Samsung smartphone will reportedly release later this year/early next year.

Now, signs are pointing that the wait is almost over, as Samsung Mobile updated its Facebook and Twitter profile pictures with an image of a folded Samsung logo, indicating that the foldable device is suggested to make its official debut at the South Korean tech giant’s annual developer conference on Wednesday, November 7.

It’s no secret that the company has been working on a smartphone with a bendable screen, as a concept reportedly began in 2011, and they previously unveiled flexible displays at SID’s Display Trade Show in 2016.

It’s not clear what else may be announced during the keynote, but you can livestream the event below on Samsung’s YouTube channel starting at 10 a.m PT on Wednesday.

Now, here is everything we know about Samsung’s purported foldable Galaxy X phone.
