The comic and film industries lost an undisputed legend last year as Marvel icon Stan Lee passed away at the age of 95. In addition to his writing and producing credits, Lee was well known for making cameos in various Marvel films. Now it has been revealed that Avengers: Endgame will be his last stop in the Marvel cinematic universe.

Since his death, Lee has appeared in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse and most recently, Captain Marvel.

CinemaBlend had previously reported that Stan Lee may feature in this summer’s Spider-Man: Far From Home, however Avengers: Endgame director, Joe Russo has said he believes the Avengers finale will be his final appearance.

While Lee’s cameos have previously been about fun, his last appearance is expected to be more sentimental, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige told ET.
