Stranger Things will be returning to screens in Summer 2019, Netflix confirms. During the Television Critics Association’s press tour, Netflix's programming executive Cindy Holland revealed that while the return has been delayed, fans can be assured it'll be worth the wait.

“It’s a handcrafted show,” Holland said. “The Duffer Brothers and Shawn Levy, they understand the stakes are high. They want to deliver something bigger and better than last year. I think it’s going to be a fantastic season. It will be worth the wait.”

The sci-fi drama was confirmed for a third season last December, with behind the scenes production videos releasing in April 2018.

Recently, the online streaming service shared a quick teaser for the upcoming series.. The trailer is set in the year 1985, and introduces newcomer Robin, played by Maya Hawke. Watch below.
