It’s no secret that social media has turned the fashion world on its head. The previously elitist, closed-off ecosystem of editors, stylists, models and designers has been – some would argue – blown wide open, allowing everyone and anyone to access the industry – in theory. One of the byproducts of this revolution is the birth of the influencer, an individual who via their superior social media clout can exert huge sway on the broader fashion conversation at the click of a button, rivaling glossy publications in terms of influence.

Influencer marketing agency Tailify has published a short film chronicling the phenomenon of the #influencer, interviewing industry insiders like Wood Wood designer Karl Oscar Olsen and Rasmus Storm of Copenhagen fashion boutique Storm, and documenting this new phenomenon.
