Toro y Moi a.k.a. Chaz Bear has officially given us all something worth waking up for today with the release of his new single "Freelance." On top of that, the Oakland artist has also shared an accompanying visual directed by Harry Israelson. The bumping track is a mixed bag of elements from house and funk, and comes fresh off his sixth album titled Outer Peace. This full-length project follows last year's Boo Boo LP and was birthed out of his return to the Bay Area.

"This record is a response to how disposable culture has become and how it affects creativity," he said in a press release. "While listening, you might pay attention or ignore--either way that's ok, this is music for a creative mind."

Outer Peace is slated to drop on January 18, 2019 via Carpark Records. Get into the groove through the stimulating video and peep all of Toro Y Moi's upcoming tour dates below.
