Uniqlo and JW Anderson continue their collaborative efforts on into FW19, with a new collection scheduled to release this month. Titled “The Great British Outdoors,” the seasonal assortment points to the town of St. Ives in Cornwall, England, blending traditional British elements with the modern styling of JW Anderson.

“Like all the seasons I’ve done with Uniqlo it’s always interesting to see the collection evolve through the meetings with the teams and see if really become this amalgamation of life wear and JW Anderson,” says Anderson. “I liked this idea of pops of color to make the heritage British patterns and colors feel a bit more modern. Contrasting pops of color and tartan are very present.”

Tartans and Nordic designs are used heavily throughout the FW19 collection, showcased on outerwear, skirts, and accessories. Fringes are then applied to various pieces, accounting for playful embellishments.

As has become customary, the collaborative collection between Uniqlo and JW Anderson features an array of reversible items, including down jackets for men and women, and coats in bright yellows and greens with an earthy base. To stave off the cold, you can also take advantage of the HEATTECH Warm Easy Pants, which are lined with HEATTECH fleece. For women, AIRism leggings and half-zip tees offer functionality to ensure comfort.

With prices ranging from $39.90 to $179.90, JW Anderson’s FW19 Uniqlo collection launches online and in stores worldwide October 17.

Not NYC, not LA.
