During their spring break from high school last month, two Wisconsin teens filmed themselves climbing San Francisco’s Golden Gate bridge — without any safety gear.

The truly terrifying video shows Peter Teatime and Tommy Rector casually walking along the upper parts of the bridge. The teens brazenly hang off the side of the beams, run along tiny walkways, and even do a few somersaults. If you’re afraid of heights, you might not want to click play.

Obviously, this kind of thing is totally illegal. Until the video surfaced online, the San Francisco authorities had no idea this stunt took place, and are now going to beef up their security detail to stop other would-be daredevils from trying the same thing. They are also considering pressing charges against the teens, who, if convicted, could face up to a year in jail and $10,000 in fines.
