Bradley Soileau has launched his new fashion/art/music project, entitled Blackfist. His first body of work entails a seven-piece capsule collection accompanied by one-of-a-kind handmade pieces, a series of zines, limited edition cassette mixtapes, and a short film which will be revealed over the next few months, ultimately culminating in a gallery installation. Shot by Cameron McCool and featuring model Justin Gossman, the lookbook was made by hand and xeroxed by Bradley himself to further emphasize the brand’s aesthetic. The collection is inspired by Bradley’s dislike for Los Angeles (his current hometown) and the feelings of drowning and depression brought about by the city’s state of endless summer. Accompanying this lookbook is a mixtape of music that inspired the concept, you can check it out here.
