Street Style is an ongoing series shot by Highsnobiety. This week, Copenhagen-based photographer Adam Katz Sinding (the sole force behind Le 21ème) heads to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia Fall/Winter 2017 to capture the young showgoers in their finest wares.

Location: Moscow, Russia

Season: Fall/Winter 2017

Key Looks: The double Kappa look proves retro sportswear is going nowhere (slide #11), I spy an expert lesson in how to pair your Gosha Rubchinskiy staples with a tailored dress (slide #24), and it wouldn’t be fashion week without some Darth Vader/stormtrooper steez (slide #18), would it?

Editor’s Notes: As any fashion obsessive knows, it’s always fashion week somewhere. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia wrapped up last Friday, and given that the industry’s heavy hitters are now Eastern European designers like Demna Gvasalia and Gosha Rubchinskiy, it’s hardly surprising that Moscow serves up some of the most enviable street style looks of the global fashion week circuit.

As expected, there was everything from streetwear-heavy threads to more avant-garde ensembles, and a slew of Insta-ready looks in tow. Trend takeaways? Adding chains, clunky belts, and DIY custom pins and patches to your outfit all remain essential ways to give your look some personality.

Now you know what Moscow’s fashion folk is wearing, see what happens when the global street style get the David Attenborough Treatment.
