On Sunday night, Travis Scott celebrated his birthday with a stop off on his ‘Bird’s Eye View’ tour at New York’s Terminal 5. Virgil Abloh showed up to open the show under his DJ moniker, Flat White, and also released some special OFF-WHITE tour merch.
Consisting of hoodies, track pants, and a T-shirt made from Champion’s basic gear, the merch features a graphic bird illustration with “‘MERCHANDISE’ Virgil Abloh™ 2017” written underneath, as well as the brands’s trademark “c” alongside a smaller inscription on the hoodie’s arm that reads “concert merchandise, Virgil Abloh c/o Travis Scott, ‘Birds Eye View Tour,’ 04/30/2017, Terminal 5, New York 02017.”
According to Reddit, the hoodies were sold for $120 while the T-shirts went for $60. If you missed the show and have hundreds to spare, resellers are already hawking the merch on Grailed, with T-shirts priced at around $400 and some sellers listing the hoodie at a crazy $1,000.
The show was so insane that multiple fans seen were jumping off a balcony to get in on the action, resulting in one kid reportedly breaking both his legs and having to be taken away in an ambulance.
