Under Armour’s latest colorway of Cam Newton’s signature C1N lifestyle sneaker just dropped, and it takes direct inspiration from the Carolina Panthers’ quarterback’s love of classic American muscle.

If there’s one thing any Cam fan should know, it’s that he’s a huge classic car fanatic so it’s no surprise that the newest colorway of the C1N is decked out in the same colors as his pimped out 1970 Oldsmobile 442 Cutlass: Black and gold. The restored Cutlass features a custom plated 24 karat gold panther head on the grill along with his signature C1N logo.

Riffing off this luxuriously redecorated whip, the black and gold accents on this C1N are a direct reference to the aforementioned super car and serve as a true homage to Cam’s continued obsession with all things auto.

To get a sense of just how dope these shoes are, we put together a short video highlighting the elements the colorway was inspired by which you can watch in all its glory above.

You can cop your very own Black/Gold C1Ns for $120 at Under Armour’s website now.
