21 Savage, SZA and Metro Boomin have all had stellar years. SZA released her critically acclaimed debut album, Ctrl, this summer; 21 Savage built on the momentum he garnered in 2016 by releasing Issa Album and Without Warning; and Metro Boomin (who produced Without Warning) added to his endless catalog of bangers by producing hits for Big Sean, NAV and Future, amongst others.

To commemorate their achievements, Spotify’s RapCaviar has taken inspiration from the Romans by creating life-sized sculptures of the trio. Each sculpture pulls reference from the artists’ work: 21 Savage is dubbed “The Warrior,” Metro Boomin “The Architect,” and SZA “The Mold Breaker.”

The video above, directed by Director X and narrated by Pharrell, gives us a peek into the 15-days sculpting process that was required to create the statues.
