German sports giant adidas introduces their latest undertaking, adidas Journeys. For its inauguration, adidas Journeys brings together eight biking enthusiasts from all over Europe in a path through the breathtaking South Tyrol Dolomites.

Beginning on September 2 in the small town of Bolzano, the bikers will make their way around the scenic roads of the Dolomite mountain ranges. In time, the riders will reach the world's most beautiful city built on water: Venice. Once there, they'll make their way through the palazzo-lined canals, while taking in the 55th Venice Biennale of International Art and reflecting on their time along the paths traversed.

The first installment expands on adidas's longstanding commitment of using sports as an international tool for promoting cultural exchange and diversity. Future adidas Journeys planned for 2014 will continue the same level of commitment towards the promotion of all sports and memorable experiences.

In addition, the unique cycling tour will be illustrated with the use of an interactive map that fans and supporters can track throughout the tour, while also encouraging other riders to follow the adidas Journeys lead. After the tour is completed, the route used can also be booked by fans via adidasjourneys.com, extending the positive experience of cycling and the Südtirol region.

Stay tuned for future updates regarding and head over to the project's webpage for more information regarding #adidasjourneys.
