Editor's Notes: Who said boots are only for the winter? Definitely not Adsum and Merrell 1TLR.

Serving as a continuation of their 2021 collaboration that took the perforated Hut Moc as canvas, the pair look to the MOAB 2 Mid to create a technical masterpiece that's effortlessly cool.

So, let's start with the technical side of things. The Adirondack Mountain-inspired hiking boots are built on a foundation of GORE-TEX (a Gropcore essential) to create a breathable waterproof membrane that envelops the foot, forming an unpenetrable barrier against the elements. Wet feet? The MOAB 2 Mid could never.

The boots' upper has been crafted using a mixed fabrication of water repellent leather and heavy-duty nylon oxford cloth, which creates a blend of man-made and natural materials that break in and age beautifully with wear.

Although their carefully crafted look will leave you wanting to keep them on ice, these have been tailored to take a serious beating in whichever environment you choose to put them to the test.

Of course, hard-wearing boots require protective elements. Adaptive protection is offered by a spacious toe and cap, allowing your feet to swell without having to worry about restriction.

Grip and comfort are afforded to the wearer by way of the Merrell Vibram TC5+ rugged 5mm lugged sole. Tying each of these performance elements together is a carefully curated palette of deep olive green, black, and grey.

Releasing alongside the militaristic set of boots is a limited-edition t-shirt that celebrates the heritage of the MOAB – what better way to do so than an oversized muddy tread print?
