The latest installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers: Infinity War, shattered box office records over the weekend, raking in an eye-watering $640 million USD.

Like any pop culture phenomenon in the spotlight, however, its cast was not saved from the snark of internet trolls as the latest installment in Jimmy Kimmel's "Mean Tweets" show. For the Avengers Edition of the popular segment, the stars of the film dropped by the comedian's studio to read out loud some of the social media network's cruelest and funniest tweets.

Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Mackie, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Winston Duke, Elizabeth Olsen, Don Cheadle, Dave Bautista, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Samuel L. Jackson, Paul Rudd, Karen Gillan, Paul Bettany, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt and Chris Evans all feature in the video.
