Editor’s Notes: Swiss running brand On has partnered with Denmark’s Bang & Olufsen to launch its elite competition-level sneaker, the Cloudboom. The sneaker, which features a carbon fibre plate and is designed for racing, will be released alongside a limited edition of Bang & Olufsen’s first true wireless sports earphones, the Beoplay E8 Sport On Edition.

“It has always been a dream of mine to create the ultimate competition running shoe,” says Olivier Bernhard, co-founder of On and multiple Ironman World Champion title holder. “The Cloudboom is created with the inputs of our elite athletes who know what it takes to run your fastest marathon ever.”

The shoes and the limited edition wireless earphones will be available on July 16 via On and Bang & Olufsen’s official stores respectively. The On Cloudboom will also be available via select retailers.
