Release Date: February 16

Price: TBC

Buy: Blends

Editor’s Notes: West Coast retailer Blends has teamed up with California mainstay Vans to deliver an ultra-premium rendition of the Old Skool. In addition to outfitting the sneaker with hairy suede and leather detailing on the Sidestripe, lining, and insole, the Blends x Vans Old Skool adds one of Vans’ latest technologies: ComfyCush.

ComfyCush is a new series of Vans sneakers, each of which features a lightweight cup sole outfitted with high-performance foam technology to optimize foot support.

The highlight of the collaboration, however, is the "bone" Sidestripe/Jazz Stripe, which replaces Vans' regular Sidestripe branding and was also present the last time the two brands teamed up. In 2017, Blends and Vans dropped a "bone" Jazz Stripe-equipped Old Skool that featured a premium leather construction.
