What We’re Saying: Vans isn't sitting idly by watching its signature silhouettes like the Sk8-Hi, Old Skool, and Authentic do the heavy lifting. Instead, the brand continues to introduce all-new models, like last month's lifestyle offering, the EVDNT UltimateWaffle. The Cali outfit is back this month with yet another brand new sneaker, one that is made by skaters, for skaters. With the help of Dime Skateboarding, Vans officially debuts its newest style, the Wayvee.

The first-ever colorways of the Wayvee arrive in collaboration with Dime, who brings its signature yellow hue to the skate-specific shoe. The sneaker is showcased in Evening Blue and Egret, boasting luxe suede construction and plenty of tech to get you through lengthy skate sessions. Incorporated onto the upper of the shoe are reinforced translucent mesh quarters that provide maximum breathability, while a DURACAP toe cap ensures the Wayvee can withstand whatever you throw its way. An interior LuxLiner then gives the sneaker a sock-like fit, further improving support and comfort. Below, you will find Vans' patented Wafflecup outsole, which is put into play to aid board feel, impact cushioning, and overall durability.

From an aesthetic standpoint, the debut Wayvee colorways see Dime's signature yellow hue running through the insole and the “Off The Wall” heel scab. Embroidered Vans and Dime logos signal the collaboration up top, while the clear outsole is printed with Dime branding beneath the surface.

News of the all-new Vans silhouette comes as many are eagerly awaiting the wider release of the Patta x Vans “Mean Eyed Cats” collab. For more skate kicks, here are some of the best on the market right now.
