Drake is handling his Camp Flog Gnaw fiasco with style. After complete radio silence in the days following his tragic performance where he was booed off stage, the rapper has finally addressed the elephant in the room. Drake posted a picture of himself with Odd Future’s Taco, captioning it: “Plot twist…just signed a 10 year residency at Camp Flog Gnaw sorry kids see you EVERY SINGLE YEAR till you are 30.”

Tyler, the Creator‘s eighth Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival took place in Los Angeles this weekend and while the two-day event was stacked with fire performances, Drake’s in particular is holding Twitter’s attention.

The Canadian rapper was booked as a surprise headliner at the festival, but unfortunately for him, some fans were less than impressed. As you can see in the painfully awkward video below, many were expecting Frank Ocean to be the surprise guest and they didn’t make any efforts to hide their disappointment when Drake turned up, going so far as to boo the artist off stage.

Following the backlash, Tyler, the Creator took to Twitter to speak on Drake’s guest appearance and the unfriendly welcome. He addressed Drake’s song choice, the rude crowd up front, and more.

Reactions to Drake being booed off stage are varied. For the most part, Twitter is sticking up for the artist, shaming haters for ruining the performance. Take a look at the reactions below.

Frank’s not coming, guys

Arthur is not impressed

Bye Felicia

Haters ruined the gig
