Take an up-Close Look at Drake's Custom Chrome Hearts Rolls-Royce
A week after Drake and Chrome Hearts teased a potential Certified Lover Boy merch collection, Instagram archive page @endthechromewars revealed that one of his most coveted Chrome Hearts collectibles would be headed to a literal museum – at least temporarily.
Since then, Chrome Hearts has offered a close-up look at the 1/1 custom 2020 Rolls-Royce Cullinan, which is on display at the Institute of Contemporary Art Miami until 15. As you might expect, the vehicle comes with some pretty extra customizations, including quilted leather seats in a cross pattern and rims engraved with the words “Fuck You.”
The severe black exterior gives way to some subtle rebranding, with Rolls Royce's classic Spirit of Ecstacy ornament being replaced by three of Chrome's signature crosses. The rims are also engraved with intricate cross patterns.
The luxury vehicle is a work of art, packaged by British luxury car specialists, Masonry. Masonry has built a formidable reputation for its harmonically designed aerodynamics programs, ultra-light aluminum rims and powerful engine performance enhancements are the foundation of the MANSORY technology program.
Drizzy would expect nothing less, given his staggering $8 million dollar car collection. Last year, for example, he spoiled himself with a Rolls-Royce Bushukan. The whip was the first Bushukan model to officially hit the road. Not only that, but Drizzy made sure to make his ride inimitable with an over-the-top OVO customization.
We first got a glimpse of the branded quilted leather interiors courtesy of his “What’s Next” video, which saw the rapper hitting up Toronto's most iconic spots and flexing a Patek Philippe Nautilus, customized by Virgil Abloh.
To get a full 360 look at the whip and all its details, you can head over to Chrome Hearts' interactive website. And to see Drake's custom Chrome Hearts Rolls-Royce Cullinan in all its glory, you'll need to head to ICA Miami from May 1 to May 15 for an appointment-only viewing. Limited-edition lifestyle items including unisex jeans in a custom Carolina Blue wash for $3,085, pullover hoodies for $550, and shearling teddy bears with matching hearts on their chests and sweaters are also available exclusively at the Miami store.
According to WWD, the capsule collection is “merchandised in a gallery with an installation of stacked vintage televisions modified to play looped video snippets of Drake’s car. The collection’s release was timed to the car’s premiere.”
