Brand: END. Clothing x Vans

Model: Old Skool and Slip-On "Vertigo"

Key Features: UK retailer END. flips Vans’ iconic black and white checkerboard pattern, creating a trippy, warping optical illusion you can wear on your feet. The Old Skool and Slip-On are further elevated with woven jacquard, 6-ounce canvas and premium leathers, plus a tonal white Vans heel badge on each model.

Release Date: December 8

Price: €89 (approximately $101) for the Slip-On, €105 (approximately $119) for the Old Skool

Buy: END. Clothing

Editor’s Notes: Popularized by Sean Penn's classic turn as slacker Jeff Spicoli in 1982 teen flick Fast Times at Ridgemont High, the Vans checkerboard pattern has been reinterpreted by END. Clothing for this collaborative "Vertigo" pack.

Both sneakers come in limited packaging, and thanks to the nature of the jacquard weaving process, the uppers of both the Old Skool and Slip-On carry a warping, brain-bending take on the checkerboard that is unique to each pair. Kind of how you'd imagine Spicoli saw his shoes after one blunt too many.
