The spirit of the Vans Warped Tour lives on through adidas, which is channeling our collective teen angst into a series of collaborative sneakers designed with some of the biggest bands of the Hot Topic era. Meet the Fall Out Boy Stan Smith, a nifty trompe l'oeil sneaker that finally gives the MTV stalwart its flowers.

Fall Out Boy actually revealed its forthcoming adidas shoes itself, offering a single close-up shot of a Stan Smith sneaker co-branded with Fall )ut Boy motifs.

The most interesting thing about the shoe is that it treats the Stan Smith like a Superstar, painting adidas' Three Stripes logo on the shoe's side atop the typically understated perforations, shifting the all-caps nameplate (which now reads "FALL OUT BOY") to the ankle.

No other information is available yet about Fall Out Boy's adidas collaboration, of course, but it immediately calls to mind the recently "revealed" adidas x Korn collection, which also first surfaced on social media.

Korn hasn't yet commented on its rumored adidas collection but at least we know for sure that Fall Out Boy x adidas is legit, though that's all we know for now.

adidas' Fall Out Boy and Korn collaborations are apparently unrelated, though it'd be pretty cool if they were issued as part of a Y2K Mallcore pack, say. Add in My Chemical Romance and you've got a pretty hype three-way.

Actually, adidas, Hot Topic, and MTV buzz may be the only real throughlines connecting Fall Out Boy and Korn. Though Warped Tour feels like the most obvious crossover, both Fall Out Boy and Korn only appeared at the touring festival a couple times each.

But if both the Fall Out Boy and Korn adidas collaborations launch this summer, it'll be the easiest way to tap back into those summertime emo kid vibes. At least until the next iteration of When We Were Young, that is.
