After a spring collection that was structured around classic silhouettes, Vancouver-based brand {illustratedexample has returned with a polished set of pieces for its Summer 16 collection, one that puts an emphasis on lightweight qualities.
As with previous collections, the materials that comprise ie's Summer '16 are a blend of fabrics from either side of the Pacific. This season’s pieces include round-collared, contemporary shirts made from natural Japanese fabrics, functional mid layers, and cotton layering pieces knitted and constructed in the brand's native Canada. The otherwise neutral-toned palette is offset by several doses of vivid, primary colors that appear on the occasional shirt and pant.
The collection is available now at all Livestock locations and on the retailer's online store.
