Lil Yachty confirmed that his Lil Boat 3 project will drop imminently in an Instagram post, on Saturday, May 4. The video shows a slow-motion Yachty turning away from a mixing board followed by the text “LB3 coming soon.” Take a look below.

The Atlanta musician turned actor raps, "I left out of school without mama's permission/They wanted me dead, they been hoping and wishing/I'm stealing your bags when I'm put in position/I'm dressed in all white like a chef in the kitchen." The post was accompanied by the caption, “I just wanna win.. And it’s time again.”

The announcement comes after Yachty caught fans off-guard with his collaborative track “Atlanta House Freestyle” with Chance the Rapper, back in April. Lil Yachty's last full-length was Nuthin' 2 Prove, which he dropped in October 2018.
