Moncler is gearing up for the quite the journey. This fall, the brand's Genius platform — an initiative that invites collaborators to make their mark on Moncler's signature outerwear — will head to Shanghai Fashion Week for its next show.

In the six years since its inception, Moncler Genius has recruited quite an impressive list of creative partners, ranging from JW Anderson and 1017 ALYX 9SM to Pharrell and Palm Angels.

Its next cohort, however, is a mystery — for now, at least. According to a press release, the lineup will be announced later this year. "Expect the unexpected," the brand hinted.

What we do know: Moncler Genius will stage an "immersive" event at Shanghai Fashion Week on October 19. The show will build on the success of Moncler's previous Genius pop-up, held in London, which unveiled projects by the likes of adidas, FRGMNT, and Jay-Z's Roc Nation.

A statement from Moncler continues: "Moncler Genius’s move to China expands the brand’s creative possibilities, embracing Shanghai’s energy and pulse for dreams and innovation."

The jet lag will be worth it, we promise.
