Designer Han Hyu-Min themed his SS19 collection for MÜNN around “Remembrance”, showing a hybrid of formalwear, sportswear, and workwear worn with obfuscating accessories, flowers and VR headsets. It was business meets pleasure, and the past meets the future.

The designs seemed to hinge around nostalgia, with the suit cuts leaning more into the slouchy, carefree styles of school uniform than that of a business executive. The color and textile palette was rich and diverse with pinstripes, workwear-style denim, floral fanny packs, Nike football gloves, and even a basketball jersey featuring the LA Lakers logo being styled together to signal a maximalist style effect. One noticeable style quirk was the elevation of belts up to neck, sitting around the collar and pulled together tightly, simulating the effect of a strait jacket.
