Various leaker accounts gave us our first look at the rumored Nike Air Jordan 4 “Raptors” last week, with hawk-eyed Jordan heads noticing a small design change that they claim confirms Drake’s long-speculated move to adidas.

Drake is famously at the center of a tug of war between Jordan Brand and adidas, as the rapper is rumored to swap the Jumpman for the three stripes.

According to @py_rates on Instagram, the Raptors Air Jordan 4, which is done up in the Drake’s favorite NBA team’s colors, officially dubbed “University Red” and “Court Purple,” was supposed to feature Drake’s signature on the tongue. However, the leaked images circulating online show that the regular Jumpman logo is being used instead.

Adding fuel to the fire was Nick “Swaggy P” Young who, during an interview with Grailed, listed OVO alongside himself and Kanye West  answering a question about how adidas is the Golden State Warriors of the lifestyle industry.

OVO is, of course, Drake’s label October’s Very Own and Nick Young is an adidas athlete who might be privy to more information regarding which side Drake lands on.
