Nike Paris

Nike Paris has teamed up with a squad of upcoming creatives to teach Paris's inner city kids the basics in photography and teamwork.

As part of a new program tied to the release of the new AM720, Nike has installed a bubble in Montfermeil—one of the French capital's least talked about suburbs, but still no less creative. Led by the Swoosh and art director Ousmane Ly (a.k.a. LABOKA; the guy behind music videos for French rapper Niska and Damso x Orelsan), on Saturday 40 kids between 15 and 20-years-old visited the bubble and were coached in the basics of photography over a half day session by @alyasmusic, @lea_mandana, @bishop_nast, @ahtlaqdmm, and @williamk.

Each kid was then given their own pair of AM720s and a Canon 4000D and tasked with shooting two to 10 images of their hood. Everyone will then meet again this Saturday (February 23) to present their images, select their strongest, and learn post-production techniques to finalize their shot for a special exhibition in Paris later this year, powered by Nike.

Check out the shots of last Saturday's kick off session, above and follow @highsnobietysneakers for more info.

Nike has released two new colorways of the AM720 today (February 21) with an early release for Nike+ member. Here's how you can cop them before every0ne else.
