Following Nyjah Huston joining the Nike SB skate team last year and the many rumors of his own signature sneaker, we now have a first look at the phenom’s upcoming footwear model. Nyjah, who’s ranked #1 on Street League, has gone from child prodigy, to one of the biggest name in skateboarding, and he’s barely into his twenties. To add to his many impressive milestones and X Games gold, he’s now earned himself a well deserved Nike SB signature.
Taking inspiration from the Nike Free series and Air Presto silhouette, Nyjah Huston’s SB proves that less is more. This SB model isn’t riddled with Tony Stark-esque technology, but sets out to give a more bare bone and natural feel when skating. Featuring a monochromatic design with a reinforced cushion sole forgoing any air technology, Nike creates a more organic, but still high performance shoe that you won’t need to waste time breaking in. Right out of the box, they feel like you’ve been wearing them for weeks.
Huston’s SB Free will be priced at $95 USD, and is set to release March 1. Take a closer look at the model in the gallery above, and stay tuned here for more information on the model.
