Hip-hop legend and A Tribe Called Quest member Q-Tip turned 50 yesterday. On the occasion of his birthday, the rapper/producer announced that he's got three new albums on the way.

Taking to Instagram, Q-Tip posted a video of himself jamming on the guitar along with the announcement. Thanking fans for the birthday wishes, he wrote, "Thank u for all the bday love...but I have something to share w[ith] u...3 albums."

The projects titled AlGoRhythms, Riotdiaries, and The Last Zulu will mark the first set of solo records from Q-Tip since he delivered Kamaal The Abstract in 2001. The rapper has been teasing The Last Zulu for several years now. Back in 2018 fans we were lead to believe that The Last Zulu and Riotdiaries were one and the same project, but it appears that they are two separate albums.
