Adult Swim has just dropped a 15-second Rick and Morty short that has sent fan hype for season four into overdrive.

The super-trippy short sees the pair evolving through various stages, from cells, to fish, to mammals, to Godzilla and Mothra, and concluding as planets, with a black hole-like Rick pulling Morty in. Watch below.

As you can see from the Twitter post above, the caption gives nothing away about season four — it's not even really clear if the short is a teaser for the new season at all. And that has got some Rick and Morty mega-fans a little annoyed. Check out the reactions below.
