Rihanna was not about this weekend's Super Bowl LIII, which should come as no surprise. Back in October, she declined an offer to do the halftime show in support of Colin Kaepernick. While the lukewarm Super Bowl was going down on Sunday, Rihanna was on a commercial flight, making it very clear on her Instagram stories she was definitely not watching the game.

She dragged a fellow passenger speaking asking a crew member if they could watch the game while in flight mode, labelling them a "weirdo."  Later, she posted a photo of a kneeling Colin Kaepernick with the caption "for those of you who thought I was watchin the super bowl … we beefin.” Kaepernick himself shared the screenshot admiring Rihanna for "keepin it 100."
