In the first of many evolutionary milestones to come, Sperry has put a fresh twist on the OG Authentic Original Boat Shoe, taking its classic silhouette to the next level. The latest design features razor cut detailing that suggest the iconic 360 lacing, a cupsole sneaker bottom and a sleek low-profile vamp, securing itself as a key style for the brand in a capsule created in collaboration with John Legend.

The collection features four distinct looks which incorporate Legend’s personal style through a modernized take on classic Sperry silhouettes. Presenting reimagined renditions of brand staples, the collection features a military boot, a commodore boot, a sneaker and of course, the boat shoe.

Taking cues from Legend’s bold yet refined expression, the collection utilizes luxe suedes and leathers, soft lambskin linings and Vibram soles in both unexpected and key colors such as lilac, peach, navy, and black. If you’ve been looking for a sign to upgrade your shoe game, then this is it. Check out more from the drop at sperry.com.
