Updated Story (November 3 2021): As expected, SNKRS pass reservations for the highly anticipated Cactus Jack x Nike Air Max 1 "Saturn Gold" and "Baroque Brown" will begin later this week, as a part of the Astroweek celebrations. Attendees in Houston will be able to pick up and purchase pairs at the SPACE village.

Following the announcement, official pictures of both colorways have finally been revealed, after months of speculation and mockups. If you're outside of the States or unable to attend the festivities, fret not, a wider release (including the remaining three colorways) is expected in December via SNKRS.

Original Story: Travis Scott's Astroweek is fast approaching, and the jam-packed events schedule has fans speculating that his Nike Air Max 1 collaboration may finally be dropping.

There are two things you can always count on Travis to deliver – live shows with unmatched energy levels and Nike collaborations that will leave you heartbroken when that SNKRS notification hits. If fan speculations are right, Astroweek will deliver both.

Following the announcement of a star-studded lineup for the third annual Astroworld Festival – which will bring the week-long celebration to a close – the full run of events has been unveiled.

Kicking the week into motion on November 2-3 is an event dubbed Cactus Jack x Nike. Cactus Jack is, of course, Travis' alter ego and the creative imprint under which his Nike collaborations are released. What's most interesting about the event is that it is directly tied to the Nike SNKRS pass, leaving many to assume this will be the first (and possibly only) chance to purchase a pair of one of the five upcoming Cactus Jack Air Max 1s.

Though no official details surrounding the Cactus Jack x Nike events have been released, it feels like a safe bet that La Flame would mark the start of festivities in his hometown by giving the fans what they want – new shoes (and Utopia).

Additional events in the lead-up to Astroworld Festival 2021 include a celebrity golf tournament and basketball court hosted by Jordan Brand. Travis Scott tends to rock unreleased AJ1 collaborations at such events – so it's worth keeping an eye out for first looks at future releases.

Another event that piqued our interest was the Cactus Jack Design Center x TXRX LABS. What this will entail is anybody's guess. Maybe we can expect to see some new non-Nike products – new KAWS? McDonalds? The possibilities are endless.

Whether or not big-name collaborations will be on the table, I have no doubts we can expect a whole slew of new Cactus Jack merch. Roll on Astroweek.
