After Offset unboxed it last week, Nike has officially unveiled Travis Scott's next Air Force 1. The Nike Air Force 1 x Cactus Jack is inspired by his Houston roots and the countryside where he spent summers with his grandma. His hometown of Missouri City, Texas is called out on the snaps of the shoe's heel.
A patchwork of canvas, corduroy, suede, leather, and flannel with mix of natural tones and outdoorsy prints. Many of the details channel the style of traditional work coats, including the snaps, corduroy collar, heavy brass zipper, and removable lace cover. With that in mind, it's supposed to look even richer upon wear.
The global release date is set for November 16, with a retail of $160. This week, Scott and Nike hosted a Houston workshop to create artwork based on prompts about the shoe and the rapper's youth. The winning drawings will be turned into sculptures that'll be displayed November 9 at Astroworld.
