Editor’s Notes: The Travis Scott x Nike Air Jordan 1 with reverse Swoosh will be getting a second release today after the collab surprise-dropped on Nike SNKRS during Scott’s Grammy performance in February. Rumors initially suggested the kicks would drop on May 3, but now the release date has been confirmed for today, May 11.

Before February, the sneaker had been rumored for a while, with a number of leaks and La Flame rocking the sneakers on multiple occasions. The Grammys surprise-drop followed a pattern established with the release of Kanye West’s final Nike sneaker, the "Red October" Air Yeezy 2, and Justin Timberlake’s JTH Nike Air Jordan 3, which surprise-dropped during the singer’s Super Bowl halftime performance in 2018.

A selection of apparel will drop alongside the Air Jordan 1, marking Scott's debut clothing capsule for Nike. The collection looks at Jumpman essentials and reimagines a number of staple garms like tracksuits, tees, fleeces, and shorts, which all arrive in Cactus Jack colorways.
