Tres Bien
1 / 9

Brand: Tres Bien

Season: FW19

Key Pieces: Unstructured double-breasted blazers add a sense of elegance to patched work trousers. The floral camo shirt jacket absolutely slaps. Plus, the cozy suit with baggier trousers and fleece styled underneath is pretty much a predictive wave for 2019's menswear trends in a nutshell.

Editor’s Notes: The coolest dudes are always the ones you see walking around Soho (both London and New York) or the Marais that have an impeccably understated way of dressing. It's not logo-laden nor does it scream FASHION with a capital F.

The way they put garms together is somewhere between carefully considered and not thought about at all, resulting in this uncanny valley where you're not sure if their trousers cost $50 or $500, but all you know is they make you want to try to pull off Timberland 3-eye lug sole shoes.

That's the kind of uniform Tres Bien's latest collection nails. Individually, the products are strong pieces that'll step up any closet, but together they form the de facto outfits of a dude who's more concerned with the last five books he read more than Instagram clout.

“When I’m designing, I’m always using the same reference points. Sportswear, streetwear, and European fashion,” says Hannes Hogeman, Tres Bien's creative director. “The collection is focused around strong single products rather than themed, but if I had to mention something for Fall/Winter 2019, there’s a wind of sailing in there.”

See? Even Tres Bien's quotes are on some low-key cool guy shit.
