Up-and-coming Portland MC Aminé recently dropped a short film titled "Becoming," and it's scored by a certain Tyler, the Creator. Released as part of Vevo’s brand new LIFT program, the clip finds Aminé and his friends as high school students looking to get into the music game. The DIY aesthetic throughout "Becoming" is very similar to the “Caroline” visuals he released himself last summer. The visuals see them head back to the MC's old school, Portland’s Benson Polytech, where he and his crew seek out mysterious local DJ Johnny James to try and get their music played. Watch the visuals, and listen out for Tyler's music - which plays in the video's closing credits - in the full video above.

As for Tyler, he's recently announced that his Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival will return for a sixth year, cancelled his European tour and announced his new show, Nuts and Bolts, where he'll discover how things work.
