Coming in a triple black design, the new addition to the adidas YEEZY line arrived in the familiar sleek shape with a textured midsole, Primeknit upper, and translucent strip. The only pop of color to be seen came from red stitching on the back pull-tab, while additional texture comes on the directional weaving of its laces.
The kicks, which came shortly after pre-sale of the “Vanta” YEEZY Boost 700 V2 – an all-black colorway of the chunkier silhouette – were also available in a non-reflective version dubbed “Static Black”.
Unsurprisingly, the kicks came in very limited quantities, which goes some way to explaining the steep resale price of $900. That said, the classic all black colorway is sure to be held up as one of the hottest releases from the collaborative line to date, so you’d be wise not to risk losing out if you took an L on release day.
Can’t afford the $900 resale price tag? Until 12 p.m. EDT on June 14, if you make a purchase of $100 or more at StockX, you have the chance to win both the reflective and non-reflective YEEZY Boost 350 V2s.
